Mark Tucker
Lead Pastor
Mark and Alice Tucker along with a couple dozen friends and families started Midtown Church in 2011. Mark graduated with an MDiv from Covenant Theological Seminary in 2003. He enjoys playing and watching soccer, treasure hunting, and reading non-theological books. Alice has a landscape design business, loves to go for a jog and spend time with family. They have four boys, Levi, Isaiah, Abel, Sol.

Aaron Turner Jr.
Director of OUtreach
Aaron Turner Jr. grew up in Baltimore, Md. It was around the age of 14 years old when Aaron embraced Jesus as his personal Lord and Savior. Aaron graduated with an MDiv from Covenant Theological Seminary in 2009. He has been serving Midtown as Director of Outreach since 2012.
Aaron is married Joy, his good friend from college. They have two children, Autumn & Shiloh.

Andy Malkus
Music Director
Andy Malkus was born in Charleston, South Carolina and grew up in South Jersey. Andy went to school at Covenant College and Georgia Institute of Technology. All the while, Andy played music: taking lessons in piano (and a semester of organ), picking up guitar in college, and singing, playing, & recording with groups along the way.
In 1999 he moved to Saint Louis. In 2006, he married Dana Miller of Indiana. They live in south Saint Louis and have three school-age boys.
Andy joined the staff of Midtown Church in November of 2018, as music director after several years of heavy involvement with the music at Grace & Peace Fellowship.
Lauren Kofron
Church Administrator
Lauren Kofron has been serving as the Church Administrator since 2014. Lauren has been married for 16 adventurous years and together with her husband, Chris, they are raising three spirited children. Lauren is currently studying at Covenant Theological Seminary and plans to graduate in 2022 with her Master of Arts in Counseling.

J. Merlin Whitman
Operations Coordinator
Merlin Whitman serves as Midtown’s Operations Coordinator. She has previously worked at Twin Oaks Presbyterian & Mercy Hill Presbyterian in administrative roles. Merlin’s husband, Marcus, serves as an Elder at Midtown and they have two daughters. When not organizing church schedules and sorting through policy and procedure, Merlin enjoys board games, reading, and crafting.
